Stephanie Nguyen, Silica Labs (@nguyenist)
Stephanie Nguyen is Lead Designer and a Co-Founder of Silica Labs, a startup located in Washington DC. She is designing apps for mobile and wearable devices, including Google Glass, the Sony SmartWatch, the Pebble Watch, the Basis Watch, and more. Most recently, she worked on the design and distribution of Wearably, a platform that makes it easy for media companies such as National Geographic, the Atlantic and NPR to send their content to millions of tech-savvy device adopters across Glass and smartwatches. Stephanie co-organizes the Google Glass Meetup in DC and served on multiple speaking panels to talk about designing for small screen devices for The Atlantic and Digital East.

I’m a fitness loving digital strategist and blogger who lives in Washington D.C. I currently work as an account manager for Beekeeper Group, a boutique strategy firm that works with our clients generate buzz and manage their hive.
I’m also the owner and author of applyfit.com where I write about the intersection of technology and fitness from an honest, reliable, and thoughtful perspective. I’m particularly interested in how technology ranging from traditional websites, to mobile devices to wearable technology affects individuals’ access to health and fitness and cultural/societal values.
I’m a Davidson College alum (go Cats!) with a masters from American University who can be found running the streets of DC, in the yoga studio, or people watching at Union Market.

Jason Crum, VP Engineering, i4C Innovations Inc. (@mydogsvoyce)
Jason is Senior VP of Engineering and IT at i4C Innovations. He is currently overseeing the product development of VOYCE™, a break-through technology that will help you understand your dog like never before. The VOYCE health band is worn comfortably around a dog’s neck and tracks key vitals such as heart rate, respiratory rate and distance, so pet parents have more insight into their dog’s health and wellbeing. Jason is a seasoned technology executive with an extensive background in product and application development, strategic consulting, and complex system architecture. His experience ranges from working at large Fortune-500 Corporations such as AOL to launching start up technology firms. Being a runner, a triathlete and leading an active lifestyle himself, Jason understands the value of wearable health products and recognizes the benefits they can provide to people. He’s excited to bring that technology to the pet world, in order to help pet parents develop deeper relationships with their dogs.

Michael Seifollahi, Lead Mobile Developer, NPR (@mikeseif)
Michael is Lead Mobile Developer for NPR, previously Lead Mobile Developer / R&D Special Projects for Purple, Rock, Scissors; a digital agency. he has experience taking projects from idea through deployment, with a strong focus on User Experience and long term product evolution. He started his first software venture at 17 and has been exploring new technologies and projects since. Outside of work, Michael has taken a sabbatical from his long, illustrious rugby career on hold to raise his baby daughter. Other interests include home automation, DIY / wood working, mountain biking, traveling, food, and bourbon.
