HTML vs. Native apps: handouts

Thanks to our panelists and moderator on April 29, 2013 for a lively and enlightening discussion of the technical and business sides of the “HTML vs native apps” debate. Two of our panelists prepared handouts for the audience, with excellent information about the nuts and bolts of mobile app and web technologies and how to make the best use of them.

Mobile Monday DC Brochure: Overview of web and native tools and frameworks, and device specs of some popular mobile devices. Prepared by Richard Smith from OpenPath Products.

Transitioning from HTML5 to App: Best Practices: guidelines for building an HTML application so that it can be transformed more easily to a native app. Prepared by Carla Brown from the National Wildlife Federation
